Privacy Policy

Developer: vault. Effective Date: October 2026 Scope: iOS • Android • Multi-Chain
VaultETH is an open, sovereign, self-custodial multi-chain wallet application developed by vault. Financial sovereignty and mathematical privacy are the foundational requirements of VaultETH.

1. Zero Personal Data Collected or Transmitted

We do not collect, store, transmit, or monetize your personal information, name, email address, phone number, physical location, IP address, or device hardware identifiers. The application contains zero analytics frameworks, trackers, third-party advertising SDKs, or cloud telemetry.

2. Silicon Hardware-Backed On-Device Storage

Your BIP-39 recovery phrases and private cryptographic keys are generated and stored exclusively within the local device's hardware Secure Enclave (Apple iOS Keychain with kSecAttrAccessibleAfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly) and Android Keystore (AES-256 GCM). They are never synced to iCloud, Google Drive, remote servers, or external services.

3. Direct Decentralized RPC Communication

To display balances, gas fee estimates, and broadcast signed transactions, VaultETH communicates directly over HTTPS with public blockchain JSON-RPC endpoints. RPC providers never receive your private keys or recovery phrase. You may configure custom, self-hosted RPC endpoints directly in the app settings.

4. Public Blockchain Records

Transactions signed and broadcast via VaultETH are recorded permanently and immutably on decentralized public blockchain ledgers as required by decentralized consensus protocols.

5. In-App Verification & Assistance

For questions or verification regarding this Privacy Policy, users can access the built-in diagnostic and support center inside the VaultETH application (Settings > Support & FAQ) or review the public source code repository.
